About
Carol has an eclectic portfolio that reflects her eclectic lifestyle! With husband Mike she currently enjoys cruising the Pacific aboard their Sundeer 64 sailboat, voyaging to exotic locations well off the beaten track. 2008 was spent exploring Mexico’s Sea of Cortez. In 2009 the itinerary included Bora Bora in French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and the Kingdom of Tonga during humpback whale season, finishing up the year in New Zealand.
In addition to travel, landscape and underwater photography resulting from these adventures, Carol also has a passion for equestrian sports, particularly show jumping, and owns horses competing at Grand Prix level ridden by her daughter Michelle Parker, a professional trainer based in San Diego. At Carol’s Cross Creek Farms facility on Tucson’s east side she has a small breeding program and also maintains a contented herd of retired Grand Prix competitors.
In 2009 Carol completed a total restoration of an old adobe home in the Fort Lowell historic district of Tucson. The result is a charming studio where a changing gallery of images can be viewed (by appointment only).
Carol’s images can be purchased as fine art prints here on this website. In addition her work is represented by stock agencies including Corbis, Fogstock and iStockphoto.
